I am a 22 year old Senior College student living in Southern California. I was raised on the east coast by two wonderful parents. I am writing this blog for two reasons. First, I am passionate about Proposition 8 because I am a homosexual who one day hopes to get married. Secondly, because it is an assignment for a class.

I hope one day that all people will be equal and have equal rights around the world. With the passage of Proposition 8 I feel as though the state of California has told me I am less of a whole human being then my straight counter parts and I hope this blog will help to change the minds of those who voted in favor of Proposition 8 and will renew the fight in those who voted against Proposition 8.
